The American Farm Bureau Federation just published the results of their annual survey regarding the cost of Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people.  This year’s report states that Americans will be paying slightly less for their Thanksgiving dinner over 2015 prices.  The average cost of this year’s holiday dinner for ten decreased by $.24 or less than 1 percent to $49.87 from $50.11 in 2015.

The survey shopping list includes turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls with butter, peas, cranberries, a relish tray of carrots and celery, homemade pumpkin pie with whipped cream and coffee and milk to serve a family of ten with leftovers according to the farm bureau.
